Theory of electricity

There are four primary quantities involved with electricity:
Vectors used in the force method: Forces and fields
Scalars used in the energy method: Potential energy and potential (also called voltage)

We have three main goals to accomplish:
    1. Determine these four primary quantities for a discrete or continuous distribution of electrical charges
    2. Find one of the primary quantities, given the other three
    3. Apply these concepts fo find a related quantity such as acceleration, speed or distance
